Cyflwyno Hysbysiad Cosb Benodedig i dafarn yng Ngheredigion / Fixed Penalty Notice issued to a Ceredigion public house

MAE tafarn yn Aberaeron wedi derbyn Hysbysiad Cosb Benodedig o £1000 am fynd yn groes i Reoliadau Diogelu Iechyd (Cyfyngiadau Coronafeirws) (Rhif 4) (Cymru) 2020.

Gwelodd swyddogion o Dîm Diogelu’r Cyhoedd fod tafarn y Black Lion yn Aberaeron yn cyflenwi alcohol ac yn aros ar agor pan waherddir hynny o dan y Rheoliadau.

Cyflwynwyd yr Hysbysiad Cosb Benodedig ar 9 Rhagfyr 2020 gan Gyngor Sir Ceredigion. Gall y trwyddedai ryddhau ei hun o unrhyw atebolrwydd am gollfarn am y tramgwydd os telir y gosb cyn pen 28 diwrnod.

Mae’r awdurdod yn cydnabod yr aberth a wnaed gan fwyafrif mangreoedd trwyddedig Ceredigion er mwyn cydymffurfio â chyfyngiadau’r coronafeirws. Bydd camau yn cael eu cymryd yn erbyn mangreoedd lle canfyddir eu bod yn diystyru’r gofyniad o dan y Rheoliadau i gau a pheidio â gweini alcohol.

Fixed Penalty Notice issued to a Ceredigion public house

A public house in Aberaeron has been issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice of £1,000 for breaching the Health Protection (Coronavirus Restrictions) (No.4) (Wales) Regulations 2020.

The Black Lion public house in Aberaeron was seen by officers from the Public Protection Team to have been supplying alcohol and remaining open when prohibited under the Regulations.

The Fixed Penalty Notice was issued on 9 December 2020 by Ceredigion County Council. The licensee may discharge liability to conviction for the offence if the penalty is paid within 28 days.

The authority acknowledges the sacrifices made by the majority of Ceredigion licensed premises in order to comply with the coronavirus restrictions. Action will be taken against premises where they are found to be flouting the requirement under the Regulations to close and not serve alcohol.
