Disgyblion mewn Grŵp Cyswllt yn Ysgol Gynradd Dihewyd i hunan-ynysu yn dilyn achos COVID-19 / Pupils in a Contact Group at Ysgol Gynradd Dihewyd asked to self-isolate as COVID-19 case confirmed

GOFYNNWYD i ddisgyblion mewn Grŵp Cyswllt yn Ysgol Gynradd Dihewyd hunan-ynysu am 14 diwrnod ar ôl cadarnhau achos COVID-19 yn yr ysgol. Fodd bynnag, bydd yr ysgol ar gau heddiw, 3 Rhagfyr 2020 fel mesur rhagofalus ac i alluogi pob cyswllt i gael eu hadnabod ac ar gyfer glanhau trylwyr. Bydd yr ysgol yn ail-agor yfory ar gyfer yr holl ddisgyblion a staff nad ydynt wedi’u hadnabod fel cysylltiadau.

Gofynnwyd i’r Grŵp Cyswllt hunan-ynysu oherwydd eu bod yn gysylltiadau agos ag achos COVID-19 a gadarnhawyd yn yr ysgol. Rhaid i’r disgyblion a’r staff hyn aros gartref am 14 diwrnod i leihau lledaeniad posibl y firws i deulu, ffrindiau a’r gymuned ehangach. Mae’r Ysgol wedi cysylltu â’r holl rieni.

Mae’r Cyngor yn annog pob rhiant i atgyfeirio eu plant am brawf os ydyn nhw’n datblygu unrhyw un o’r symptomau, sef:

· tymheredd uchel

· peswch parhaus newydd

· colled neu newid i synnwyr arogli neu flas.

Dylai rhieni fod yn ymwybodol o symptomau eraill ar y dechrau, fel pen tost, blinder a phoenau cyffredinol sy’n gysylltiedig â’r ffliw fel arfer.

Gallwch wneud cais am brawf arlein https://llyw.cymru/gwneud-cais-i-gael-prawf-coronafeirws-covid-19 neu trwy ffonio 119.

Ni ddarperir unrhyw fanylion pellach ynglŷn â’r mater hwn.

Pupils in a Contact Group at Ysgol Gynradd Dihewyd have been asked to self-isolate for 14 days following the confirmation of a COVID-19 case at the school. However, the school will be closed today, 3 December 2020 as a precautionary measure and to enable all contacts to be identified and for a deep clean to take place. The school will re-open tomorrow for all pupils and staff who are not identified as contacts.

The Contact Group has been asked to self-isolate due to being close contacts of a confirmed COVID-19 case at the school. These pupils and staff must remain at home for 14 days to reduce the possible spread of the virus to family, friends and the wider community. All parents have been contacted by the School.

The Council urges all parents to refer their children for a test if they develop any of the symptoms, which are:

· a high temperature

· a new continuous cough

· a loss or change to sense of smell or taste.

Parents should also be aware of other symptoms early on, such as headaches, tiredness and general aches and pains usually associated with the flu.

You can apply for a test on https://gov.wales/apply-coronavirus-covid-19-test or by phoning 119.

No further details will be provided regarding this matter.
